Planning & Accompanying for Final Moments

We often think of end-of-life rituals as happening after a death, but there are many powerful and meaningful rituals that can be included in the final days or moments prior to a death. Rituals are a powerful way to bring meaning and structure in a time of loss and grief, and they also help to affirm cultural or religious identities, and bring people together in community and support. These rituals may not only be helpful for loved ones who are preparing to say goodbye, but can also bring peace, comfort or closure to the person who is actively dying. Whether rituals be religious, spiritual or secular, they help us to say goodbye to our loved ones. 

We are available to work with you and/or your loved one to craft the details, prayers, and rituals surrounding their final moments.

Your loved one’s final moments can be supported by the caring and experienced presence of a spiritual advisor who is able to offer prayers or rituals to bring meaning and comfort to the end-of-life, or who can just hold space quietly as you say goodbye.

Whether you have planned ahead or not, we are here to accompany you through these final difficult and sacred moments.

For those who would like for us to accompany you and your loved one from the planning stages through to their final moments, we are able to offer a Planning & Accompaniment package that includes five spiritual guidance sessions and/or companioning visitations, in addition to ritual planning and accompaniment of their final moments.
