While you are contemplating M.A.I.D, or after you have chosen it, you may need support with including your loved ones in the decision and/or communicating your wishes to them.

Knowing how to approach and have these necessary or desired conversations can be daunting. It can be helpful to have a practiced facilitator to help you prepare, or to be present to help guide the conversations. We are available to support and empower you to share your wishes with those closest to you.

Anticipatory grief may begin soon after receiving a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness. Grief support can include counselling, resources and education for you or for your loved ones.
